I love this oil on canvas and am happy Wyeth succeeded in passing on his artistic talent. In his studio, in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, N.C. taught three of his five children and two sons-in-law to paint. via
You can never go wrong loving/liking a Wyeth. Such a calming scene of a much simpler time.
I have a friend who's a fairly renowned painter, his two sons and a granddaughter have followed in his footsteps. It's wonderful to see the strength and gifts of ones DNA/gene pool.
Lifelong collector of antiques. Things that interest me: animals, cottage and country life, fine art, architecture, antiquarian books and prints, dogs, natural history and sporting items, gardening, photography, graphic design, humor, quotes, real estate, interior design, renovation, restoration, learning new things, electronics and technology. This blog, established in 2008, reflects my own personal taste and will never bore you. Rosemary Beck
