It's been one of those days here at the cottage. Rain, rain, and more rain. I thought about taking a cat nap so many times but never got the chance. I'm glad somebody did. Cats and books add so much to any interior, don't they? via
oh that luscious lovely fur... i love it! and i'm what you'd call a dog person really i guess. though kitties are fascinating wonderful little creatures. i love the line... i don't know the author... but it goes something like... god gave us the house cat that we might pet the tiger.

Beautiful old books, it's amazing how comfortable that cat looks sleeping on them.
It rained here all day yesterday and I for one was grateful for nature's watering, it meant that I didn't have to do it with the hose.
Charles Wysocki painted a cat in that very position. lol
