A Scene in An English Garden

I found this saved photo and don't know the source. My notes tell me it was a garden scene in Wiltshire, England. It's lovely, isn't it? Have a great week.

How pretty and picture perfect.

This picture reminds me of my maternal grandmother, she loved Irises or Flags as she called them. She grew them along the side of her house until she passed away at 91. I always thought they looked like lush Orchids.

I'm very fond of the old cottage flowers all of which grew around the home of my birth...Peonies, Lilacs, Iris, Gladiola, Hollyhocks, Poppies and Lily of the Valley....unfortunately none of these do very well where I live now.

This image is card-worthy. I love bearded iris and grew up with them in our yard, like your other reader. the watering cans are great too.
