Webster and the Dust Mops

Webster has stationed himself right in the line of fire between me and the dust mops hoping he will get priority. We are not Swiffer people here at the cottage preferring the old-fashioned way to dust floors. Sort of like the catch-and-release method in fly fishing. There was a church rummage sale this week and I resisted with all my might buying one of those cutsie signs saying "this house is protected by killer dust bunnies" because it hit too close to home. I decided to get rid of them instead---thus the resulting cleaning frenzy. Wish me luck.

Where do you find the old fashioned dust mops? All I can find are horrible swiffers and microfiber things. I am getting rid of the carpet to help my allergies.

The dust bunnies are relentless here. They return no sooner than I send them on their way.

I vac, dust and everything else on my wood floors because of the "you know who's..." :) Webster, so nice to see you! Wish I could give you a big hug in person!!!

Oh, I prefer the old method myself. By now, you probably have those dust bunnies well on their way. Webster does what my Foxie does. Stand between me and my house duties : )

Dust bunnies and dogs are great bedfellows. I have a swiffer and find it to be fairly worthless. Did you get your old fashioned dust mops at Williams Sonoma?
