Bryce Canyon National Park - Utah

This windswept tree growing on the side of a cliff is hanging on for dear life. I have never been to Utah, have you? via

Rosemary, I have not been to Utah. But my grandson is in graduate school at Salt Lake City, I hope to go when he's finished.:):) I love all the rare pictures you come up with, plus I love the ones you take right there at your home.xo,Susie

We love visiting Utah. Going for our 8th canoe-camping trip down the Green River to the confluence with the Colorado River, 11 days of red rock canyons, spring wild flowers, lots of time to kick back and watch clouds, birds, beaver, herons, eagles, hawks, lizards, scorpions and the once in a while snake. Very different landscape from the Great Smoky Mountains where I live.

Lovely in my view. Love how the roots show. Never been to Utah but, it looks like a great place to visit.

I grew up about a four and a half hours drive north of this canyon. This is a beautiful picture with an amazing tree taking tree center stage but, if you walk past the tree and look down into the canyon you will see the most gorgeous and incredible sight. I promise it will take your breath away.
