Webster on The Timeout Porch

"I promise not to make the lady sick."
I had a really good turnout at an open house I hosted today. I was doing it alone in an empty house so I decided at the last minute to take Webster along. It turned out to be a genius idea. He was Mr. Meet and Greet and [almost] everybody loved him. One lady said she was allergic so I put Webster on the sunporch. He did everything imaginable to keep this from happening. He made himself small and put on his dog brakes. He was in there for 10 minutes at most out of a 3 hour stint. He licked babies, played with little boys, kissed men and women both young and old. He was a great ice breaker too. From now on, he's my new assistant. He is exhausted from all the excitement and has already gone to bed after his early dinner.

That Mr Webster sure knows how to work a crowd. Hopefully he convinced one of your attendees to buy this house with the time out porch.

Does he get a commission in doggie treats?

Oh, bless him! I am always suspicious of anyone who is allergic to dogs;)

What a great looking dog! I'm sure he's a good ice-breaker.

So, did Web sell the house for you? He is so handsome, he could sell anything!

Oh Rosemary, Webster does look worried on the timeout! (know his facial expressions so well by now ;-))

Adorable photo! I always loved taking my dogs to work. Good luck selling that house!

What a great idea, Rosemary. I don't think we like the timeout porch, tho :) I am sure you felt much safer with your best buddy there.

Never leave Webster behind........and don't sell that house to the person who wanted Webster on the timeout porch.

And also don't stop talking about the fab camera in h==the iPhone......astonishing.
today I took my grandson (9) to the grocery store to get the ingredients for a recipe he is making for his class. It had cups and tablespoons.....teaspoons.

We "asked Siri"! How many tablespoons in a stick of butter? How many cups? She was fab!

It was so fun! And he adored it!

Certainly simplified my experience!

I think I'll do a post!!!

Working is exhausting sometimes, but working a crowd...doubly so. I laughed out loud when I read Bonnie's "I'm always suspicious of anyone who is allergic to dogs". I probably am too. Webster will make all of the homes memorable.

Sweet little Webster looks confused...he only wanted to kiss the lady with the allergies! :-)
I think he's a certain heart warming assistant for you! How fun.

How so sweet! I love Webster. He probably wondered what he did wrong, though, out on the sunporch :0

The picture reminded me of wonderful meetings with new and old acquaintances. I had 59 posters for Rotary's bluegrass concert to distribute around town yesterday. Some stops I look forward to because I know there's a dog there.

The Pet Center --of course there was a dog at the counter chomping at the bit to LEAVE but loving those kibble treats.

Dr. Rued's office: There was Lovely-Lily with the longest black eyelashes I've ever seen. She's very affectionate and knows she's pretty.

Used bookstore, The Book Juggler, has Zues. The official greeter, loves everyone, and looks as though he's wearing a mask.

Chamber of Commerce has Oscar, a little guy rescued from underneath a car on a cold winter night three years ago. Today he guards the Chamber office, all 15 lbs. of him.

House Doctor Paints has Cee-Cee a friendly little "Frazier" dog.

SHN Engineering has Maggie, another rescued dog. It was so cute. I didn't realize Angie Herman had a dog so I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and had her come whipping around the corner to greet me. She grinned at me. I'm not kidding. She grins. Terribly timid but shows you all of her pretty white front teeth.
