What lovely lines. They never age, do they? As beautiful today as the day it was constructed.

Alas, we're a tear-down society in the U.S. Seems Europeans have used a great deal of caution about destroying their heritage.

The old houses have such great details, don't they? I sure hope someone restores it too. It's a shame to think of all the homes that have fallen into ruin. I'd love to know the stories behind some of them......

Finally a house I might be able to afford Rosemary..:)!
Although I can't do electrical or plumbing I am darned good at all the aesthetic stuff! It really hurts my heart to see such a lovely home sitting alone and empty.

And now for a completely different opinon.....

I look at this and think of one of my favorite holidays, Halloween. I'm kind of liking it just the way it is altho for a true Halloween feel it would look better on a misty night with a full moon peaking in and out of the clouds.

Oh my! What a striking house! It's beautiful...but unfortunately in it's "run down" state, it's starting to look a little spooky. I hope someone fixes it up!

Sorry to think but it's total fate is probably based on "LOCATION" in the day most certainly great, but now not so much. What a sad aging gem of our past. There was a time that some family was SO proud to call it home!

It’s Italianate... not carpenter gothic. But nice house none the less!
