Decor for the New Year.

Now that the Christmas tree is down it's been fun playing house and doing some new tabletop decorating here at the cottage.
Mother Hubbard's cupboard is bare and poor lucky Webster had to eat Cheerios and cat food with soy milk for breakfast. Needless to say he was thrilled.

LOVE this grouping. There's such warmth in this photo. Not to mention that it's all very stylish too.

I laughed out loud when I read about Webster's breakfast. A dog's breakfast indeed. Ha!

My boy will each just about anything and looks it too. :)

I am so excited. Just when I thought that I had blown it by not picking up some paper white bulbs in the fall. A friend called to say she has some to share. I will hold your beautiful groupings as the standard for my own rearrangements after I finally take down Christmas today.
Steve at An Urban Cottage suggests that Gin is reported to keep Paper Whites from getting to tall! I shall try this and will let you know!

Rosemary,
I love this grouping. I am thrilled to see a little more of your charming home. The equine painting and what looks like leather books on your furniture look so great.

Thanks so much for sharing!

Do you read May Sarton?

Pic infers you do!

Lunch in conservatory today with my real estate friend Connie Morrell. Were your ears twitching?
