Countess of Grantham and Lady Mary are to release a record album

Are you watching Downton Abbey? I read two press releases recently saying Maureen McGovern and Michelle Dockery costars on this wonderful PBS Masterpiece series were pairing up to release an album.

I must confess I wasn't that impressed with Lady Mary's voice in last week's episode. We will just have to wait and see.

Interesting. I agree, Mary's voice was on the same line as with O'Brien's kindness. I had no idea Elizabeth McGovern was a singer either! I await. In the meantime, I continue to enjoy DA.

Perhaps, Michelle Dockery actually does have a lovely voice. For her part as Mary the movie, it seemed she performed reluctantly as it was not her forte but she was coaxed to do it for the morale of the soldiers.

Oh how I love every episode, each nuance of Downton Abbey. I simply never will get enough of it.

I am hoping Downton Abbey becomes a regular series. I record Lark Rise and DA every Sunday to watch sometime during the week. I wonder how many episodes we will have this season? I think I read it was a surprise hit.

I think the singing wil, be up to Maureen McGovern... not Elizabeth...

After a bit of research, it seems Michelle Dockery has a talent for jazz singing, which would deliver differently than the Edwardian songs of Downton Abbey. Best to Ms. Dockery!

It should be interesting to see if Michelle Dockery will be singing in any upcoming episodes. I do agree that it appeared awkward but as someone up thread mentioned that might have been do to Mary's reluctance to perform. It certainly would be in character.

I am loving every minute of DA and understand that they are currently working on series three.
