Almost February in NJ or The Winter That Wasn't

We had winter in New Jersey in the fall during Halloween and since then it has been unusually mild. Maybe this is our reward for all the damage we suffered when we had a blizzard while all the leaves were on still the trees. Our poor mature trees are still suffering and losing branches and even whole treetops because of their October injuries.  I took this iPhone photo at a friend's house yesterday. I know I sound like a broken record mentioning the camera source in my posts but I still can't believe the capabilities of my mobile phone that's always in my pocket. Enjoy this beautiful Sunday!

Rosemary I am sure there is going to be foliage damage everywhere because of the bizarre weather we have had this year. In this area they have cancelled so many winter carnivals and the ski resorts are losing money daily.
Going into February we are still only expected to get barely a dusting of snow over the next 7 days!
I guess the argument over global warming has been definitively answered!
Have a good Sunday Rosemary and hugs to Webster!

I always love to see your lovely iPhone photos. My husband just got his new phone. I am not due for an update for awhile, I still have the 3g, sigh.

Willie was channeling Webster this morning licking the oatmeal bowls. The pot scares him. Have a terrific Sunday! Bonnie

Girl you are just showing off:):) I love all your pictures. You just have a great eye for photos. It will be sad when people see the damages of the cold. I just pray all our little trees make it this year. Smiles to you dear Rosemary, Susie(She Junks)

It is a weird winter up north too!
Just a bit of snow, but plenty of ice!

I was just thinking this morning about how weird this weather is we've been having. Still, I'd rather be complaining about that than complaining about the feet of snow I have to shove.
