My Christmas Tree is Finally Up and Decorated

My tree looks about the same every year. No lights, only old glass ornaments that reflect the light in the room and wooden cranberry beads. I'll probably take more pictures later. I don't know why I didn't put it up earlier since it is faux but I didn't. Christmas comes but once a year and I'm never ready.

The stockings are hung by the chimney with care in hopes that St. Nicholas soon will be here. Merry Christmas.

Rosemary, You do not need the lights with the sun streaming in to highlight all it's loveliness. Until the last 5 or 6 years we didn't put our tree up until the week before Christmas and left it up until epiphany. Things change. Have a wonderful and peaceful day!

I see Webster has a stocking. Hugs! Bonnie

Hooray! You may be a tad late but your tree is lovely and just in time for an early Christmas dinner then a nice relaxing evening after walking the critters.

Merry Christmas, Rosemary.

Merry Christmas Rosemary, I have enjoyed reading your blog, and sending emails and comments to you these past few months. It has meant so much to me, to be able to read blogs and let some of my worries ease. My daughter has fought breast cancer this year. I have been with her family many days this year. So when I could come home and get on line to visit with blog friends, it's been a blessing. Thank you. Susie (She Junks)

Beautiful. As I overheard someone say "I don't know why we're never ready. It's not like it doesn't come the same day every year!"

Merry Christmas, Rosemary...my two grand dogs will be visiting, both chocolate labs: Bernie and Sawyer! We are sure to give them their presents of gourmet doggie treats from Stu Leonards. Your tree and home look cozy and very traditional...beautiful. Best to you and yours. Judy
