Over a year ago my husband built an owl house and installed it high up in a tree. His dream is one day to look out and see an owl up there. Right now I refer to it as "squirrel condo." They seem to like it.
Could you imagine the thrill of seeing this one flying by?

That looks like the Alberta prairies right outside my window. I have seen a few snowy owls, but that is an amazing shot!
Really beautiful, it reminds me of winters in the Laurentien Mountains in Northern Quebec!
