Stove Top Saturday Night Supper

Everything cooked on top of the stove in stages in the same vintage cast iron wok: one split Cornish hen, stuffing and brussels sprouts. Easy and delicious. Pumpkin pie with whipped cream for dessert. I love one-dish meals because of the quick cleanup. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

This looks very much like our Thanksgiving feast except ours was made in about ten pans instead of one. I love brussel sprouts and stuffing. We had brussel sprouts for Thanksgiving with caramelized onions and bacon....yummy.

I like the idea of a one pan meal; great photo Rosemary and a delicious looking dinner.

Looks delicious! I have my mother's iron skillet. I wonder if it would do the job. We had brussels sprouts for Thanksgiving as well. And here I thought I was thinking out of the "Thanksgiving box". Yum!

Rosemary,

This looks delicious and after washing an endless number of pans from our feast, maybe I'll try this next year! :-)
