A Seldom Seen View of My Cottage

This was one of the last iPhone photos from Sunday's walk. I hardly ever take photos from this angle of my cottage because my car is usually parked along the wall; it's good Feng shui to use your front door. The awful crabgrass that is so unsightly in my gravel driveway has just about died down and Webster and I are digging it out by hand. We worked outside yesterday from noon until 6:30 weeding and mowing before the Nor'easter hits tomorrow with torrential rain. You KNOW how much I'm looking forward to that, don't you? Rushing to get ready for an office meeting. See you later.

What a charming cottage with a beautiful view. My cottage is only 10 yrs. old but what sold me was the little eyebrow windows. Don't you just love them?

Next year, pick up some plain old white vinegar and on a sunny day pour some on each weed. It will kill them without using nasty chemicals and is a lot cheaper too.
You have a lovely home!

Rosemary, I love your driveway wall. Your home looks so very nice . Crabgrass...the our lawn man said it's from having a draught season, which makes me go ,hmmm really? We had plenty this year. You have to kill it in early spring. Stay safe in the on coming nasty weather. Smiles, Susie

Your home is cute as heck! I love it. Mine is small too and cozy and I love it. I knew right away that your were truly content in your little abode as I am in mine. I like that..
(oh heavens! Not to worry about the grass in the gravel drive. We all contend with that sort of thing..and it's part of owning and loving our homes. We PULL our own weeds!) :)

Your cottage is lovely. I adore all the different angles. I am in the throes of cottage envy these days. Stay dry and warm please.

Love your cozy little home and I know you're very proud. The big red rooster out front would certainly be a welcome sign for me. If that's not a rooster, oh my face is red.

It's so fun to see your charming cottage. I remember some time ago you showed us a little kitchen nook with a desk and I knew the rest of your home was undoubtedly lovely. I love gravel drives, even if they are the devil to keep the weeds out of.
