Leaf Magazine | Preview Issue | Read On-Line

Have you seen this? Don't you love it? Inspiring Gardens - Seasonal Outdoor Style - Fall Flowers. I can't wait until I have time to sit down and 'dig' into this new magazine. I hope they do some articles on gravel driveways overgrown with crabgrass.

Really nice publication. Re: gravel driveways overgrown with crabgrass: A simple solution that's environmentally kind. White vinegar. It comes in gallon jugs on the bottom shelf, below the normal sized bottles in the supermarket. On a dry sunny day, pour it directly onto each weed in driveway and between pavers on the walkway. The acid kills weeds by the end of the day, and renders the soil uninviting to weeds for quite a while. Just watch out for the plants and grass that you DON'T want to kill.
