When my youngest daughter moved into her first off-campus apartment, years ago, she shared it with 6 girls! In her room, a stairway to nowhere like the one in the picture actually led to a landing built on top of a bathroom where there was a mattress!! I'm not sure why Kate ended up with the bed on the floor and her darling friend up in the clouds. For Kate's sake, I was relieved this was so, all the while worried to death that her dear friend would roll off her perch. Thanks for prompting this flash back. Linda

Great space, Rosemary. Not too crazy about the chairs, but everything else is wonderful! All those bookshelves are great!
Don't worry, Rosemary -We'll rig up a dumbwaiter so I can send your cupcake and milk right up. ...maybe there should be a slide, for descent....
