Fresh Acorns

We are in a dreadful weather pattern in the east, aren't we? Three solid days of rain are predicted. So far, so good after it started last night. Rain doesn't make for a restful night for me if you know what I mean.

I'm looking forward to getting some acorns from the way back but I'll have to get down there early in the day before the wild turkeys eat them. via

Oh, such drearie days we are having here in the Mid-Atlantic. At least it's cooler now and we can open up our houses and breath "real air." I would be happy to (mentally) travel to England with you. This surely brigtens my day.

I actually enjoyed the cooler temperatures today, despite the rain. I recently came back from a trip west where it was over 90 degrees each day.
