Waiting for Irene

Today is prep day and it is the most beautiful morning ever with cloudless blue skies...what? This really must be the calm before the storm. I've been getting emails right and left sending me real time hurricane tracking software to download free and maps with evacuation routes. Thankfully my county is not even on the list. I am going down with the ship and staying put. I've been told there is no milk in the markets. I shopped 2 days ago so I am fine as long as we have power.
Stay safe and do everything you can to keep Irene from your door.

We are in the path as well, and yes, it is kind of eerie what a gorgeous day it is today :)
Hope you stay safe.

Not to unduly alarm you, but your power may be the first thing to go. Do you have a generator to use as back-up? Hope you will be safe as I think Irene is a very unruly lady.

Stay safe! And never underestimate the power of Mother Nature!

This is apparently the worst storm to hit the east coast for 80 years......or something. Never ever think that these warnings are exaggerated!
My prayers are with you and everyone on the east coast!
