Portrait of A Buttercup

Photos by Rosemary Beck. Webster and I took a walk yesterday when the rain let up for a few minutes. I do love the wild buttercups and will pick a big bunch later today to decorate the house for the dark, gray week we're going to have.

Webster has placed a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the bedroom door knob until further notice.

That Webster knows exactly what to do on a rainy day. I managed to mow the back yard this afternoon and now have the windows open so that I can hear the lightening and thunder and smell the rain. It may be a challenge but you two try to stay dry this week.

What a hoot, that Webster. I'm quite sure he knows he's loved!

I remember as kids we would hold a buttercup under our chins to make our skin look yellow from the reflection - did you used to do that? P.S. Webster looks so cozy - he's got the right idea. Lana

I haven't seen a buttercup for years, since moving to the Southwest, so that was a wonderful treat! As for Webster.....love,love,love..sweet, tired boy!
