The Lake District, England

Oh my goodness. Have you ever seen anything more beautiful? No wonder Beatrix Potter loved this region so much. Photo of Wasdale Head, UK by Michael. I love the caption he put below his photo on Flickr.
Rocks are banned.
Was the gate to keep the rocks out or the scenery in?
HaHa, good one Michael. Don't you know those rocks are just dying to get in?

Breathtaking!!! My husband and I are going to London and Paris this year for the first time. We are so excited. I am so excited about taking photos of cottage gardens the most. I have one and someone from Englad was her and said his Mom would be proud!!!That was the biggest complement ever! Now we will be able to see all of their beauty in real life:) Thanks for sharing this with us today.

I can just imagine Peter, in his little blue jacket, hopping across the field, stopping to look behind him. Beautiful!

As ALWAYS I'm completely loving reading your blog, Rosemary, BUT I am VERY busy today, and must pull myself away for a Doc Martin marathon! My hubby and I are starting at the first, and have made it through the first season now! hehe!! We're enjoying it so much, and are delightfully surprised by the wonderful acting by all. THANK YOU ROSEMARY!!!

Love,

PS This photo is breath-taking...lets go for a walk there tomorrow, alright? :)
