Ice Everywhere at My Cottage

I don't have a doorbell and I sincerely hope nobody is coming anywhere near my front door today since the walkway is a solid sheet of ice and the iron bell is frozen too. I must deal with the outside pretty soon and scatter some seeds for the poor birds if I do nothing else.

Rosemary, I haven't visited your blog in a while, and I love it when that happens! Because there's a whole new delicious array of eye-candy, ideas, things to get my creative mind revved up. Great for this snowy day.
Thank you!
Lauren

Rosemary do be careful. Snow I can deal with, ice not so well. I hope the sun and warmer temps will arrive soon and bring you release and relief. Happy to read that Webster is doing so well.

Lauren(above comment) has got it exactly right--eye candy!
Such a beautiful image you caught(although I hope by now that the ice has melted off).
Doesn't it look like the rooster atop the bell is wearing a wig?

Your photos are worth a thousand words. Brrrr. Be safe.

Please be very careful. If any outdoor activity can be postponed, do it. Surely nothing is so important that you must risk life and limb---unless, of course, you've run out of groceries, yours and Webster's food. Try some of your delicious oatmeal for dinner.

Seriously, be careful.

Rosemary, you surely are living in an ice palace. What a beautiful photo of your "doorbell." May a warming trend come your way soon.
