Meet Mr. Fox

I've seen so many handsome foxes on my property today but can't get anywhere near them. Webster considers them his mortal enemies because no other 4-legged animal is allowed within his territory. He knows the entrance to one of their dens and is always sniffing around there. I honestly hope there is never a confrontation. We never let Tabitha the cat out alone because of them. They are beautiful animals and they eat mice which makes them heroes in my book.

We have foxes and had a baby fox on our property this summer. So cute. It was eating the wild strawberries. They better stay away from my cat though :) Have a lovely weekend!

When David and I lived in Middleburg, VA we had a red fox on our property. He was shy and never bothered us. We see them here in Boise too, although not too many red ones. They are beautiful creatures. I hope that Webster never gets too close to that den!

Love,

Beautiful fellows, and yea for them with the mice. I have been known to put an insect outside of my house onto a vine, but a mouse, hmmmmmm, I just can't handle them. :(
