Apples Are My Favorite Things About Fall

I just can't get my fill of these ginger gold apples. They are tart and crisp and they snap when you bite into them. I eat several every day and buy them in great quantities when they are fresh off the trees. What's your favorite variety? Don't you love the way they look in my antique Georgian glass bowl?

Oh Rosemary how hard it is to pick just one variety, but if I had to I would pick Golden Delicious! I loved them as a child and I love them still. There are some new varieties I want to try soon also....
Have a bright and beautiful day!

What a beautiful photo... I think the most popular would be golden or red delicious.. maybe :)

I bought several squatty pink & green apples on a whim, and partly because the sign said "pink" or "blush" (can't remember). I was charmed and curious. The teeny label says "Honeycrisp", and boy are they! Sweet and snappy, and the juice runs down your wrist. I'm going back for a dozen more, and a new book to read while I munch away.

Honey Crisp apples are pretty tasty but my favorite apples are the ones picked right off the tree. Yes, love the bowl and the apples, lovely photo.
