Baby Tenrecs at Bronx Zoo | Hedgehog Lookalikes

A Handful of Baby Tenrecs - ZooBorns: "In late June, the Bronx Zoo welcomed two baby Lesser Hedgehog Tenrecs. While they might look like hedgehogs, and even have hedgehog in their name, they are actually a totally different family of mammals. Tenrec species come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, with some looking like hedgehogs, some like mice, and some even like otters!" I've never even heard of a tenrec, have you? They are very cute.

Oh my Rosemary I have never heard of them but I just wanted to cuddle one up and start feeding the tiny little thing as soon as I saw the picture! I just adore creatures of all kinds and sizes. You always find the most interesting photos. Oh and that house you have for sale for a little over a million? Wow, nice!
