May Your Bobbin Always Be Full

Great Illustrated Quote Don't you hate it when the bobbin runs out in the middle of a seam? When I was young, I used to think if I ran the machine very slowly the thread would last longer.

Rosemary, love that quotation. Your comment reminds me of that great line from the movie "Driving Miss Daisy". "The slower you go, the more you save on gas."

Yes, I agree. As a consequence, I tend to overload the bobbin. Then I end up with lots of bobbins filled with thread that I have to find a use for somehow, somewhere! Certainly there are bigger problems, but it's one of life's mini annoyances.

Oh that is sooo funny....and sweet
and it's one of my pet peeves,
along with running out of yarn mid row
but if that's all we have to complain about
then we are in pretty good shape I'd say!!!!!
