Smell The Flower

This is a picture of me when I was a baby holding up a flower for the photographer to smell. I think my grandmother probably made the romper and embroidered the dog on the front. I miss those wavy edges on old pictures, don't you? Someone should make a paper cutter that replicates that edge. I wish I had an old one. Notice I tagged my photo under antiques.

Very sweet, Rosemary. I have all my Granny's old pictures of the family and alot of them have the crinkled edges :)

What a sweet picture!
I love the edges as well. I bought a set of paper snips @ Michaels Crafts that creates an edge close to that.
Have agreat weekend.

That's a really cute pic of you Rosemary!! I can see that you have always loved flowers. I agree with you about the ruffled edges, I love them too. So much in fact, that whenever I copy something on the photocopier or print a pic out on my computer, I use scissors that ruffle the edges. My heart is in the past!!

Look for a deckle edge scissors or a paper cutter with a deckle blade. Works a treat!
