Webster's Birthday 8 x 7 = 56 In People Years

Today is Webster the Wonder Dog's 8th Birthday. Isn't he handsome?
He got a whole baked sweet potato instead of a cake. He loves them. We just came back from a wonderful walk on the property. This is the trench I'm always blogging about. It handles the runoff nicely. The skunk cabbage is getting pretty tall.
It will fill out a lot more as time goes by. I even saw my first outdoor spider today. It was a quite mild with a high of about 75 degrees. I hope your day was equally nice. The grass is so much greener than it was this time last year. Water and warmth is all it took. It was fun taking my camera out on the early evening stroll. Enjoy your evening, Rosemary. Oops...I almost forgot to wish you a Happy April Fool's Day too.  My Camera is a Nikon D-40 with the Nikon 18-200 zoom lens with vibration reduction.

He's eight already!?
Happy Birthday to Webster--a mighty fine dog who is SO very lucky to have a home with you, Rosemary!
I haven't had a chance to get out and look around, but I'll be on the lookout for skunk cabbage here, too. I think spring is ahead of schedule this year--so many trees with large green buds already.

I almost missed your birthday, Mr. Webster. In fact, it's bedtime for pups but not without sending you special Happy Birthday wishes. Who knew? SWEET POTATOES.

A Very Happy Birthday to Webster!!
I'm sure he enjoyed the walk thoroughly!
Your yard is so lush. How nice it all looks. We haven't had a drop of rain all month-so despite being 30 degrees above normal, no green for us......

Oh, Rosemary! I love the pictures you took on your evening stroll! There is nothing like evening strolls in the springtime! It sounds like the 75 degree weather is perfect!

It is reaching near 85 here--it seems as if spring is passing by straight into summer. :( But nonetheless, I am thankful for the budding trees, flowers, spring breezes and whispering trees!!! :)

Happy Spring to you....
