I am happy to see that there are some books on the Idaho shelf, but am unhappy to see that there are none on either Oregon or Washington State's shelves. Has the cartographer completely dismissed Powell's Bookstore in Portland??? Powell's is a successful independent bookstore. One of the few left. I support local bookstores. I think that the cartographer needs to view "You've Got Mail" once more. The Shop Around the Corner signified the independent book seller. While I have done my share of shopping on Amazon, B&N etc, I love the independents who actually read the titles they display. OK, I'll get off my soap box now.

Love,

Wow..wow!! I love maps and I love books--how I would love to have this so I could start a collection of books about each state. However....poor Rhode Island gets NO room for the many books set in it(or by RI authors).
