Halloween and Open Shelves in Bathroom

Haven't carved your pumpkins yet? Paint them instead.

Didn't buy Halloween candy? Let them eat cake.

You know how much I love open shelves.

Finally...a place for all those shells.

Don't forget to set your clocks BACK one hour before you go to bed tonight. Daylight savings time is over. I don't look forward to the short days, with darkness setting in so early. Maybe I can train myself to get up earlier.
I cleaned out closets yesterday and took three big bags of unwanted warm winter clothes to the Clothing Bank in Morristown. Made me feel good to know I will be helping to keep people warm. It was very balmy and the town merchants were giving out Halloween treats to school children who were parading up and down the sidewalks in their costumes without their coats. Some were very cute.
Have a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by the cottage. ♥Rosemary

That bathroom with the bead board is gorgeous. It how I wanted mine....but we were stuck with contractors from HELL, and didn't want them dallying over shelving....
Some day, I suppose.....

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello sweet Rosemary!

Hope you are well; I'm recovering from a cold, nothing serious yet annoying when you can't sleep!
In Italy, we usually set our clock back the third Sunday of October (that is the 24th). I haven't get used to it by now yet! I need at least one more week to get used to the shorter days and the cold weather. Halloween isn't an Italian tradition but this year I've carved my first pumpkin! I just couldn't resist to try.
Love the open shelves too!
Thank you for you post, I'm always looking forward for your pictures or posts.

Good morning, Rosemary.
Nice of you to take the time to take your warm winter clothes to the Clothing Bank. In addition to helping others, it's liberating. Let's face it; if you haven't worn a coat in five years, chances are you're not going to. and, of course, the added bonus is the additional space in your closets. Win, win, win.

Karma? I like to think your timing with the parading school children dressed in their Halloween costumes was some sort of cosmic reward for your good deed.

This has been a most productive autumn for you or are you always this resourceful?

Best to Mr. Webster. Does he get to go for rides in your car when you make deliveries such as this one to the Clothing Bank?
