I ate so many of these cherries over the weekend. They are perfect plain, but I do prefer them chilled. I wouldn't even consider doing anything else to them. Cherry pie is for fall; sweet stemmed cherries are for summer. YUM!

cherries...I love cherries! I love sweet cherries but I love sour cherries too! My neighbor had a cherry tree and I would go into their yard, that was fenced, and attempt to steal those cherries. They didnt last long... But they always caught me! "Melinda Rae...get out of that tree and leave those cherries alone!" Thos was back when "it took a village to raise a child!"... I was afraid that I'd get spanked! It was worth it!
The whole reason I moved to the state I am in is because I fell in love instantly with my cottage (I found it on the internet!)...imagine my delight when I discovered that my area is also one of the leading growers of cherries-my favorite fruit!
