Some snapshots from my cottage life . . .

Some random photos from my camera.

My beautiful mother walking her cat on a leash.

Tabitha, the best cat in the world.

Catnip in bloom...like miniature orchids.

Garbage can lid.

Door handle on the bunker.

Beautiful weeds. I am starting to embrace them.

We are having our first hot, humid weather and I am in the middle of a cleaning frenzy. Bad timing indeed. Too late now...I have to finish what I've started. My mower is in the shop so I've decided to focus on the interior for a change. I've polished all my silver trophies and rearranged some "smalls" for a fresh new look. If you don't do this every now and then your things become invisible to your eye. Now I am seeing everything in a (clean) new light.

Happy Friday. Hope your weekend is wonderful. Thanks for stopping by. ♥Rosemary

Great idea to move things around a bit Rosemary. This is one of the tips I always mention - even packing things up for 6 months and then rotate them out.

As for the weeds, I once read that a weed is just a plant growing in a spot it's not wanted.

Oh, I love your mother! I miss mine terribly. Can I borrow her sometime? And I love that Audrey Hepburn quote when you put it up too.

From what I see, your mother certainly IS beautiful and seems vibrant, healthy and has her own sense of style.
This is funny--I, too, went into a bit of indoor cleaning and re-organising frenzy(some new trunks and seagrass boxes with lids for my bedroom, to hold my memories and little "piles") yesterday in the middle of our first humid, rather warm weather. LOL!
I just LOVE your garbage can lid photo!
