Life's Little Instruction Book, page 103 . . .

I am having a difficult time sitting at the computer today. Yesterday as I was putting on my wellies to take Webster for a walk in the rain something happened to my back. I have never had any back trouble and have always enjoyed doing super-human hard work. Hopefully, it will be better soon. Sorry for the short post. Cross your fingers that this pain is short lived.

Happy Friday. Have a great weekend.

It would seem today's quote from Life's Little Instruction Book is prophetic...and I would have to add: "Never waste an opportunity to tell someone how much they are appreciated." I truly enjoy your blog. Nothing earth-shaking... just calm, everyday life spent gardening, photographing nature, lovely architecture, and of course Mr. Webster. All of which you generously share. I hope you are better soon.

I love you! And I hope your back problems were just a weird glitch of some sort. I know it sucks getting older.

I love you! Hoping your back problems were just a glitch of some sort and hoping you're feeling better in no time at all.

Sorry to hear of your back, Rosemary. If you google for back pain exercises, you'll find some very good stretches, that at first may seem like a bad idea, but by the time you finish them, you will feel so much better! Every once in a while I throw mine out and the exercises are the things that help the most. Love the new toad photos, btw. Hope you're feeling better!
