Blue sky, hot dog, and a bag of rocks in my driveway . . .

Yesterday's blue sky with puffy white clouds.

After "helping me" hang out laundry, Webster retreated to a cool, dark spot under the bed. He always leaves his feet sticking out so I will know where he is.

I'm beginning to think I must have something printed on my forehead that says, "Please throw something in a plastic bag in my driveway." By the way, I would never hire this person. The conspiracy continues.

The shot of a lifetime: Either Mr. Webster was totally out of it, or you walk around with a camera strung from your neck....that picture of him under your bed is priceless.

I seem to recall a rule from Life's Little Instruction Book that said either "enter something at the county fair" or "attend the county fair." I think you should enter that photograph with a caption that reads: "It's hot outside."

That is soooo cute the way Webster leaves his feet hang out! And what a cute bed skirt-such a sweet pattern.

Oh no! I know the feeling...it is happening more to me via emailings...... I guess people are getting creative in these times. A NEW GYM WAS OPENING UP A MILE OR SO AWAY, they were using blue glass pebbles with their plastic concoctions, on my walks I saw so many in the street...more trash!
I give up. I also liike Webster's feet! Too cute!

You have a very smart (and thoughtful!) dog. When mine tucks himself away somewhere to escape the heat, he's GONE as far as anyone would know.
And I have to say... I'm surprised that you seem to get more junk on your driveway than I do here in the 'burbs of L.A. How do they keep finding you out there in the woods?

Wait until I show Henry the bag of rocks!!!
Is that guy crazy?
You actually gave him free advertising! He must have rocks in his head. Is it funny, clever or just stupid?

PS
I forgot to say how much I love Webster's feet sticking out!

Rosemary, Rosemary, I think you should just have a paradigm shift. Maybe there are many different people throwing those things on your driveway - it sounds like boring, low paid work, but they probably do thousands at a time so they really don't know who is a "No, thank you." I learned from FLYlady not to grouse about anything that takes less than 15 minutes to fix (well, I reduce it to 5 minutes sometimes), and this sounds like it's in that category. So you pick it up and properly recycle it. At least you know ONE of those dadgummed things went to the right place. And you give thanks that you don't have to earn money that way. Poor Andy probably can't afford to do a newspaper insert . . . ANYway, fwiw.

I love your blog! It's so cheerful and varied!

And I love Webster's feet, too! You know, maybe he does that for body temperature control, but it's nice to think he likes to be found . . .

4:30 AM, as I dropped off my two year old at the babysitter's house. She told me to just lay him down in her husbands bed and he could sleep a while. (Hubby was a truck drive and sometimes gone) I snuck in quietly and started to turn back the covers and something scared me to death! Bernie, my sons very best friend and their "Webster", was tucked into the covers, with his head on the pillow, patiently waiting for my son to snuggle up beside him! I left them all sleeping soundly! Arent dogs great??

I know it's childish, but I often throw that bag of rocks back out onto the road, as if I'm throwing at the person who tossed it in my driveway. I know, it's wrong.
You're puppy is too cute :)

The nerve of that rock throwing guy! I have never heard of marketing like that.
Tell Webster,
I just want to kiss his adorable doggie paw pads...

Rosemary -- this photo of Webster deserves a spot on your wall. It is one of my all-time favorites of your photographic eye!
