Wild violets in my grass . . .

I have lots of wild violets in my lawn now. I can't bear the thought of mowing over them. What should I do? I don't want to commit a violet murder.

Enjoy your Sunday. I have been so busy trying to get a jump on summer. It was very hot here yesterday and they are predicting record heat for today. We'll see how it goes. I guess I will have to get out the fans. Webster has requested one pointed right at him. Full blast, straight on, with no oscillating. Perfect for a hot dog.

Same dilema here - I let them go for as long as I can - and then just consider it a haircut - they'll be back

Yes, I wouldn't want you to commit a "violet" crime either and we have them all over our front lawn and I actually like them being there.

Really hot here today, too and we went for a walk by the ocean with some other friends and their dogs, all of whom were splashing around in the COLD ocean water.(too cold still for me, though)
I gave up on a few of the little yard projects I wanted to do this weekend, because of the heat.

I hope Webster will sleep comfortably with his fan pointed tright on him. :-)
