Lovely dog, Webster. Shelter dog? Approximate age? Breed(s)? Temperament? Named after? With you how long?

I love the photo of him off in the distance, ahead of you, about to look back. They always look back.

B E A Utiful. I just have a point and shoot and am in awe of you-all and your lovely photos. Today the sun is SHINING and I was so excited - until I saw the chill at -9........ sigh.

Webster will be 7 on April 1st. I got him at a shelter when he was 9 weeks old and "unwanted". He is mostly chocolate lab with a touch of pitbull with the best temperament in the world. He is a real lover who wants to cover visitors with kisses. He got his name because of his webbed feet. Yes, he always looks back and if I am too far behind, he waits for me. ♥Rosemary

Beautiful photos, and such a cute dog! :)

We still are buried under three feet of snow (five to six feet along the roadways), with more snow coming next week. Not to mention that we have been waking up to -18* to -28*C (-1*F to -18*F) over the past couple of weeks. Any hint of green is a looooong way off up here.

Thanks for sharing your photos. :)

Vickie...I use a Nikon D40 Digital SLR (6 megapixels) with an 18-55 kit lens. It was very inexpensive...around $500. Not much more than some point and shoot cameras. I love it.

Lovely photo's Rosemary, I love the fogginess and the dew drops. Excuse me for being ignorant but I have never heard of skunk cabbage, what is that? I am from MN and do not know what it is. I'm sure it's something silly I will recognize once you tell me!

Deanna...I added a link to my listing which will tell you all about Skunk Cabbage. Thanks for asking...♥Rosemary

I have not noticed skunk cabbage poking up yet(give it a few more weeks up here for that)--I always find the red tips poking out of the earth look kind of sinister and prehistoric.
Your walk photos and what you saw are magical--the fog and morning light give it that feeling.

Also..I liked learning more about Webster. He is SO lucky to have been adopted by you from the shelter. I'll try to remember his birthday(coming up soon!)
