People Get Ready, There's a Train A-coming . . .

Will this train be stopping at your station?

Eva Cassidy ~ live.
I love her version of this symbolic song.

Today's whistle stop train from Philadelphia to Washington retraces a portion of Abraham Lincoln's route in 1861.

A clever and perfect pairing--the video(I love Eva Cassidy--I even think her "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" tops Judy's)with the news of the "Obama/Biden" train. I got a little excited just reading about the news about the train stops and the cheering crowds. and that song

Oh I love Eva and everything about her and her story of strength and life. She reminds me of how strong my Mom was battling cancer for so many years and I wish they both were here still to hear and know each other.

It's been profoundly cool to experience these historical moments in time, and thanks for posting so many wonderful aspects of Barack Obama's dashing leap into leadership! And it's exciting to "meet" Eva Cassidy fans. She was a gifted angel. I love her version of Over the Rainbow -- and many others. My all-time favorite song is her version of Autumn Leaves that she sang to or for her dad.
